By typing in the address, station name or monument name, on the RATP web site (http://www.ratp.info/touristes/index.php?langue=en&rub=reperer) you can find your route. Just be careful and specify the exact time of the day if you expect the travel early in the morning or late in the night: RER and buses get scarce during the night.
